Laboratory Technician, Lab Operations

Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day laboratory operations, including but not limited to equipment maintenance, inventory management, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory reagents, solutions, and cultures according to established procedures.
• Assist with the setup and execution of experiments under the guidance of senior scientists.
• Perform routine laboratory tasks such as sample processing, data entry, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize laboratory workflows.
• Contribute to the maintenance of laboratory cleanliness and organization to uphold quality standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity within the laboratory.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Associate's Degree
• Previous laboratory experience in a biotech or life sciences environment preferred.
• Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques such as pipetting, centrifugation, and solution preparation.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
